Seller’s market: Experts predict home prices will just keep rising
Housing prices continue to rise because of the lack of home inventory and new home interest. Right now it’s homebuying season and that’s giving sellers a lot of power to browse multiple offers and get the best price. It’s possible that builders could add the inventory with new houses along with new sellers putting their homes on the market, but that’s yet to be seen and wouldn’t alleviate the problem immediately.
